Romain Wacziarg is an economist who has served as a professor of economics at the UCLA Anderson School of Management since 2011, where he has also held the Hans Hufschmid Chair in Management since 2015. He currently serves as the managing editor of the JEEA. He was previously a professor of economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research interests span international economics, political economy, economic growth, and economic development. Wacziarg has published seminar papers in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics and many more.
